Sail with the wind
With the wind behind you, your sails fill and you fly. Into the wind, you struggle. The compass rose shows where it blows from.
Take the helm of a sloop, sink pirates, loot their cargo and grow your fleet all the way to a galleon. Then join the other captains against the Kraken, and sail down to the Southern Seas to face the Megalodon.
Mer des Corsaires is a free multiplayer ship game you can play with no download, on PC, tablet and phone. Explore ten seas in 2.5D, command your ship, fight other pirates and grow your fleet through 60 story quests.

12-pounders, long-range culverins, devastating close-range carronades. Pick your guns and watch your cannonballs.
Rum, spices, silk, black pearls. Fill your hold and sell it all at port, before a pirate sends you to the bottom with it.
Market, armoury, shipyard, and the characters who give you quests. Every port sells its own exclusive cannons.
Each ship keeps its own cannons and equipment. Buy them at the shipyard, then switch between them depending on the mission.

Small and nimble, perfect for learning to sail and aim.

The right balance between firepower and speed.

A true war machine, built for the Depths and the Ashes.

Slow but fearsome. Eight cannons to take on the Sea of Storms.
Two sectors of five seas, linked by Maelstroms. The further you sail from Tortuga Harbour, the bigger the creatures and the rarer the loot.
Warm waters around the lighthouse island. Raiders loot the wrecks while Forbans lurk further out.

Beyond the first Maelstrom: pink reefs and the wreck of the Pie-Grièche. Creatures drop shells, jelly and scales.

A volcanic archipelago under a rain of embers. Home to fire rubies, and a blacksmith who knows a lot.

Ice floes, snow and siren songs. Orcas leap out of the water to crash onto your hull.

Lightning, harpies and corsair galleons. Fort Thunder sells the most powerful cannons in the game.

Beyond the Storm Maelstrom, a turquoise lagoon dotted with white-sand atolls. Captain Nalani watches over Sunport.

Mangrove islets in a green mist lit by fireflies. Crocodiles lurk underwater with only their eyes showing.

Stranded wrecks and grey fog. Morvan the Gravedigger buries the sailors the sea has taken.

An endless sunset over golden reefs. Coral golems and hammerhead sharks guard their treasures.

Basalt spires and blue crystals above the abyss. The Megalodon prowls here, and Elora keeps the last lighthouse.

A storm throws the wreck of the Hirondelle onto the reefs of Tortuga Harbour. In its crates lies a letter signed by a captain missing for seven years. It speaks of a broken Trident, and of what it held at the bottom of the sea.
“Bring me eight. What’s inside is yours… but any papers you find are mine.”
“No fire, no key.”
“When it rises, every captain will have to fight together.”
“Sink six of them, and then we’ll talk.”
“The dead don’t like to be disturbed.”
“Bring me back the Trident’s shaft. For every sea.”
Fish out the wreckage and snatch the logbook from the Forbans.
Cross the Maelstrom and reveal the invisible ink with jellyfish gel.
Relight Silas’s forge and free the ghost crew of the Pie-Grièche.
Face the harpies and corsair galleons for the final fragment.
Help Nalani drive off the rays and buccaneers terrorising Sunport.
Follow the eels’ light to the three-headed Hydra.
Dig up Aurèle’s compass with Morvan and free the crew of bones.
Relight Elora’s lighthouse and tear the Trident’s shaft from the greatest shark of the seas.
Each character tracks their quests (for example Margot 3/13). Some send you to explore a place marked by a golden beacon. Besides the story, every port offers repeatable contracts: hunts, salvage runs and cargo orders.
The Kraken rules seas 1-1 to 1-5, the Megalodon the Southern Seas, 2-1 to 2-5. Without warning, they rise in one of their sector’s seas. Their health is shared by all players: every cannonball counts, wherever it comes from. When they sink, the loot is split according to each captain’s damage.

On the forum, with your game account, you can ask questions, share ideas and recruit your fleet. A moderation team keeps the peace on board. The community is mostly French-speaking for now.
